Following a 12 month review of the organisational structure of the
British Veterinary Association
, Henrietta Alderman, currently Head of Business Operations and Company Secretary, has been appointed to the position of Secretary General.
Henrietta will have responsibility for the running of the Association's business, for the ongoing development of BVA's activities including the implementation of the recently published Strategic Plan and she will continue to report to the Board. This development will enable BVA to re-focus on its key activities and release the Officer Team and the Board to concentrate on BVA expansion and increased representation for the profession.
