5th vet required for expanding, independent small animal surgery near Worthing. Anticipating increase to 6 vets in 2019.

We strive to provide the best possible care for our patients through continuity and client bonding and have developed an enviable reputation which has driven our rapid growth. We are mindful of the wellbeing of our vets and have 20 minute consultations to reduce stress while support and encouragement is provided by experienced vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and Practice Manager. There is a good balance of consulting and operating which allows time to work-up cases.

Come and join our great team of forward thinking, enthusiastic colleagues in modern air conditioned premises with lots of natural light. The surgery is very well equipped with digital dental x-ray, high end ultrasound, Storz laparoscopy tower and Olympus gastroscope, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitor, diathermy, loupes, slit lamp, tonopen, indirect ophthalmoscope and an operating microscope.

Ferring Street Veterinary Surgery is a great place to work. We are an independent practice allowing veterinary autonomy with no pressure to hit targets. Our clients can be assured that the advice we give them is based purely on our clinical beliefs and unrelated to income generated.

We are a forward thinking practice where we like to discuss opinions, evidence and new techniques.

Each vet has a day off and an early finish per week. There is no out-of-hours. The weekends are on a 1:4 rota. They include a half day on Saturday and 2 hours for emergencies on a Sunday morning. There are 5 weeks holiday + Bank Holidays and a generous CPD allowance with study towards a certificate supported.
