What we are looking for:

One vet

27-36 hours/week (3-4 days)

Salary starts at £38-45k, with a potential increase to any amount relating to your turnover. Partnership opportunities for the right candidate, CPD allowance from £2k

6 weeks' holidays plus bank holidays

You will be working closely with Dr Lennon Foo (Author of 'Vet for Life') to gain more experience and learn new skills, including laparoscopy and/or exotic medicine. Small Animal Vet

We are a small animal mobile veterinary practice who set up 8 years ago. One of our vets is retiring, and so we are looking for a new team member. Our vets work out of converted vehicles alongside a qualified nurse or veterinary care assistant. Our vans have everything you need in them, including the ability to print medication labels easily. We also have an operating theatre in Treeton, Rotherham and there is the opportunity to have at least one operating day here per week if desired.

We all start and end our day at our Barlborough base which is just off junction 30 of the M1 on the Sheffield/Chesterfield border. We then carry out home visits across Sheffield, Chesterfield and Rotherham. We find that house visits give us a better client bond, better job satisfaction, and more enjoyment of our job as we are out and about driving through the countryside and not trapped inside all day!

We are looking for someone to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, but we have scope to increase this to 40 hours a week if needed. We do not work evenings or bank holidays. Ideally we would like someone to work on our Saturday morning rota working 1 in 4 Saturday mornings for 4 hours. The hours for this job can be tailored around school hours if needed - you can choose the hours that you work.

In order to work for us you must be a qualified vet, registered with RCVS to work in the UK. You must also have a full UK driving licence to be able to drive our vehicles.

Lynwood Vets have a fantastic opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at our Purbeck branches, mostly based at Wareham in beautiful Dorset with some duties at our Swanage branch.

The Role:

This role is offered on a full time basis over 4 days, however we welcome and encourage all flexible working requests including child-friendly hours – please call to discuss what we can offer.

There is no out of hours cover as VetsNow are hosted in our Wimborne branch. Saturday mornings are on a shared rota 1 in 4, 8.30am- 12.30pm only.

We aim to prioritise having the flexibility to allow you to pursue your personal career goals and find a fulfilling position that suits your own skills and work-life balance.

The role will consist of some sole charge at a smaller branch surgery as well as working within a larger team. We pride ourselves on our collaborative and supportive atmosphere led by our Advanced Practitioners and approachable team leaders.
