About us

We are a Primary Care Practice for small animals, which established itself amongst the Swansea community, providing care for thousands of pets every year. Being RCVS accredited, we are dedicated to continuously improving our quality of care and service. We know that owners consider pets to be a member of the family and that is why we work hard to provide the very best veterinary care possible.

We are a modern practice with a good range of equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy (and rigid endoscopy), ligasure, full orthopaedic kit and dental radiography. We have two theatres and a strong team assisting each other to provide the very best care to our patients and their owners.

We currently have a Garden in the process of being built for the practice enabling staff to use for personal use and to allow our patients to stretch their legs. We will be planting Bee friendly plants and a bug hotel.

Gower Vets recently won the Linnaeus responsibility award in recognition of our teamwork and our responsibility towards each other, our clients, and our community.  This included things like organising group walks, our reading club, mental health awareness activities and always striving to improve patient care.

At Linnaeus, we are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of all our Associates. We have an amazing team of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) across our practices and central support office in addition to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme which is available for everyone.
