About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become the 4^th vet in our close-knit team.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to focus solely on feline medicine, build strong relationships with clients, and make a real difference in the lives of cats. You will have the time to delve into cases and work collaboratively with owners to find practical and sensible solutions tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Four regular days a week plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (although there is some adjustment to shift pattern during annual leave.)
• 20-minute consulting appointments as standard with a coffee break built into our longer consulting sessions
• A mix of consulting and surgery each week
• Small amount of sole charge.

What We’re Looking For

A confident, experienced Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS.

A genuine passion for cats – you don’t need to be a feline specialist already – we’ll help you get there.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Empathy and understanding for owners' limitations and the ability to find practical solutions.

A willingness to go the extra mile for patients and clients.

Flexibility to accommodate occasional changes in shift patterns for holiday cover.
