Hours: 38hours over 4-5days (rota open to negotiation. Part time candidates considered)
Your role and responsibilities
Due to continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Surgery Certificate Holder to join us at our Glenfield Hospital within our certificate-led referral team.
We are a training practice and work closely with local universities & training colleges. Our fantastic team is very supportive, and we pride ourselves on working well as a team.
Based in our busy veterinary hospital in Glenfield, you will join the referral service and be involved in driving the service forward in both Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic disciplines. This position is for a surgery certificate holder. You will be expected to manage both an internal and external referral caseload. There are also opportunities to deliver external CPD to local referring practices and the practice team.
The ideal candidate for the role will have a surgery certificate and at least 5years of clinical experience.

About us
Park Vet Group is based in the wonderful city of Leicester. Leicester is the largest city in the East Midlands and is a modern city steeped in years of history and there is lots to do locally whether you enjoy the great outdoors/countryside or prefer the hustle and bustle of the city. East midlands airport is less than a one-hour drive away and you can visit lots of other cities in under 2 hours, including the capital.
We have all the usual kit including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ASIF and Synthes kits, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope together with planning for laparoscopic equipment investment. We also have a CT scanner on site.
You will join a friendly and enthusiastic team of vets (including certificate holders) and nurses (including two surgical diploma holders), as part of a longstanding referral service, backed up by a dedicated primary care & hospital teams and our own on-site OOH service
