Yorkshire Vets, Morley Surgery 
Up to £75,000 DOE and a welcome bonus of up to £5000 (pro rata), up to £6,000 Relocation support plus benefits

Are you a passionate and experienced veterinary surgeon looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? Look no further! We are a friendly and well-established practice located in a popular site with a loyal client base. As a senior veterinary surgeon, you will work closely with our practice leadership team to drive the practice forward and take charge of an enthusiastic team.

At our modern and well-equipped practice, we have separate dog and cat wards, two theatres, and a dental area. Our goal is to achieve clinical excellence, and to support you in delivering high-quality care, we have a team of experienced vets, RVNs, and receptionists. We prioritise continuity of care and keep many cases in-house, with full support from our Thornbury hospital.

We value work-life balance and offer both full and part-time hours. No out-of-hours work is required, and you will only need to work one Saturday morning (8:30-12:30) every four weeks. 5 day week (40 hours) for a full time role.

In addition to a rewarding work environment, we offer a competitive salary of up to £65,000, dependent on experience.

We are a Tier 3 Hospital supporting 5 branch sites and serve as an RVN training centre. Our branch is equipped with two operating theatres, a dental engine, four consultation rooms, and separate dog and cat wards. We are continuously improving our services and will soon be adding dental x-ray capabilities. This branch is perfect for a veterinary surgeon looking to develop their career and leadership aspirations. We foster a friendly and sociable atmosphere throughout the practice and organise regular fun days out. You will also have access to ample experienced support. Our site is conveniently located near the M62, providing easy access to Leeds city centre, the airport, and more.


What should be second nature to you?

You should have a good length of experience in a small animal practice. An ability to lead and inspire other vets and support staff. Desire to grow the client base and expand services provided. Run your team with friendly, approachable, and caring attitude towards pets, owners, and staff with strong leadership skills.

Our Amazing Team: Dedicated Professionals and a Welcoming Culture 
Our practice is comprised of a dedicated team of 14 vets, 11 RVNs (including 2 in training), and approximately 50 support staff across all our sites. At this branch, you will be working alongside 2-3 vets and 5 support staff. We are proud to have 5 certificate holders at our hospital, specializing in ophthalmology, surgery, and emergency medicine. As part of our commitment to the community, we regularly deliver school presentations and support several local rescue societies.
