Veterinary Surgeon required at Swift Referrals, Wetherby.
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Swift Referrals. This is a role working alongside experienced, specialist led, referral clinicians, to help facilitate excellent client and patient care. This would suit a clinician looking to develop their skills and experience in a busy referral hospital. Duties would include scrubbing into surgery, helping our medical team work up patients, care of hospital patients, client communication-updating owners and the discharge of patients. Some out of hours cover for nights and weekends on a rota will be required (there are night Vets and there would always be a Referral Clinician in support for out of hours cases). Performing advanced imaging-MRI and CT and the triage of emergency cases would also form part of the role. There would also be an excellent opportunity for primary case responsibility in our new Emergency and Critical Care centre opening June 2021. Details of working hours and rota detailed below.

Applicant Requirements
To be considered for this role you will need to have a RCVS Registration and previous small animal medical and routine surgical experience preferred, but not essential.
