Job Description

Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy

Small animal veterinary surgeon required for Independent forward thinking practice with well equipped veterinary surgery & mobile fleet on the Isle of Wight. New grads welcome to apply.

4 day week. 8.30am-5.30pm. 1:6/7 on call shared rota including day off after on call weekends. RVN on call with you. No routine Saturdays (just on call) Lovely clients, lovely team. We focus on quality of care rather than quantity. 15 minute consults. CT scanner, laparoscopic surgery, video endoscopy, (training/CPD in all if interested) Loads of support from a very experienced team.

We are a very family orientated practice; ensuring staff get to finish the day on time & have the opportunity to attend parents’ evenings, assemblies, nativity plays, sports days, etc. We have a very strong focus on looking after each other & ensuring a good work:life balance and we look after our staff very well.

Included: Generous salary package according to experience £30,000 - 50,000 with vehicle & accommodation as required, mindfulness package, gym/aerobic exercise support package, pension contributions, discount ferry travel, multiple staff socials, generous & flexible CPD allowance, heavily discounted staff benefits for pets.
