Vet vacancies at Bute & Cowal Vets Nestling between Mid Argyll to the west and Firth of Clyde to the east, our combined practices in Dunoon and Rothesay allow the illusion of quiet and remote whilst being not much more than 30 miles from the city of Glasgow. Bute and Cowal are rich in wildlife, outdoor opportunities, and lively local social life. Bute & Cowal Vets would welcome additional Small Animal Vets, one for our Dunoon branch, and a second for our Rothesay branch with some days in Dunoon. Ideally we would like each to be relatively recent graduates but with enough experience and confidence to work confidently, though well supported by our experienced vets and support staff including RVN at each site. We are a fiercely independent practice, well equipped with digital X ray, Ultrasound, in house Biochem and Haematology. We do handle our own OOH provision but this is rarely onerous. Our aim is to provide as comprehensive a service for pets, small number of horses, and some farm work in Cowal, backed up by good relationships with referral centres when required. Realistic salary includes RCVS, BVA and VDS fees, and £1000 CPD allowance.
