Independent practice - big enough to support you, small enough to care
We seek a confident communicator, looking to work at a practice that values them.
With Certificate holders in Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology and Feline Practice, we will happily take on someone with a Certificate or the ambition to achieve one. However, we are also experienced at supporting and guiding newer grads as they learn the skills they need to become well-rounded GP vets.
With our building currently being extended, this is an exciting time to join us and grow our team. We will soon have new dedicated spaces for ultrasound (abdo and echo), digital xray (CR), a dental suite (including dental xray), a 3rd (feline) theatre suite, along with a room set aside for a future CT scanner.
We open 7 days a week, but do no night work, with a dedicated OOH provider close by. Whether full-time or part-time, our vets take a share of the weekend duties, working 1 in 3 Saturday or Sunday daytimes (not both). Each vet also works one "late" weekday shift (11-7:30 or 12-8) per week. Part-time vets share the weekend/late duties for fairness, but work less weekdays. Each member of our team works to suit their individual lifestyle - all work patterns considered. Having won UK's Most Flexible Small Business in 2015, we are genuinely committed to providing flexible working, which is part of our culture as an independent practice with a family ethos.
We're a VN Training Practice, Gold Cat Friendly, Silver Rabbit Friendly, RCVS Accredited, and have all the usual toys. We're a 15minute drive from Birmingham Airport and 10minutes from Coventry train station (1 hour's journey to London on the West Coast main line).
Great package available for the right candidate.
