Paws Veterinary Centre are recruiting for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with both consultations and routine surgery.

We care about work/life balance

We offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, fix to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life. We can offer flexibility that actually works for you.

The ideal candidate will work two full days (8.30am - 6.30pm) of their choice, with the option of an additional part day if they wish. There will also be a 1 in 3 Saturday morning involved on a rota from 8:30am-12:30pm. We use Vets Now for our out of hours, so there is no out of hours or bank holiday shifts.

We have everything we need to be an independent first opinion practice and will always consider investment in new equipment and further education to support future development of our staff and business.

Meet our amazing team!

We currently have 2 Veterinary Surgeons and are recruiting for a third. One of our Vets is recently qualified and the other is experienced and soon to complete her certificate in ophthalmology.
We also have 4 experienced qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses and 3 Receptionists.
There are local certificate holders in orthopaedics, cardiology and medicine who visit us for individual patients when required. This enables us to keep a lot of our more complex cases in house.
