About the practice

Wharton Vets is a small friendly practice, situated in Winsford Cheshire with close links to the M6 & Manchester. The practice is fully self contained with x-ray, In House Lab & surgical/kennelling facilities and excellent support staff.  Wharton surgery has the support of Cheshire Pet which is located 15 minutes away. They are fully equipped with Ultrasound, Laparoscopy, Exotic Facilities & Physiotherapy/Hydrotherapy. There is an ongoing and planned investment programme to ensure the practice continues to grow.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, friendly veterinary surgeon who would embrace taking sole charge of this small friendly surgery. This would be an exciting challenge to grow the business and implement new initiatives & ideas. The role is full time and we are happy to discuss shifts and rotas with the applicant. Out of hours is delegated to VetsNow and CheshirePet is a very friendly team who will be happy to help with surgical referrals and case discussions when needed.

Applicant requirements

The candidate should be confident working alone and have a good range of surgical skills. Good client care is essential & a desire to work at a high standard to deliver exceptional care. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the running of a veterinary practice & the financial side of the business.
