Lead Veterinary Surgeon in charge of a site

We are looking for a colleague to head one of our sites with huge potential. The successful candidate will be at a stage of their career where they have some sound experience under their belt and want to move into a position where they can influence and develop a site with a supportive and well organised management team. We would look after all administrative and HR functions so this role is all about delivering a great clinical service and helping to develop our new site in line with the rest of our practice culture and standards.

The veterinary team is headed by Richard Hillam (postgraduate certificate in surgery and radiology) and complemented by three other full-time veterinarians and one very experienced vet purely involved in developing and organising the practice. The vets have a variety of professional interests from surgery to medicine and imaging.

The role would be 4 days per week with one day off, hours between 8.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday with 1:5 Saturdays 8.30am to 5pm at the main site. The branch has consulting and operating facilities and a loyal client base. CPD is encouraged and vets are supported to make independent decisions.
