Andersons has been caring for pets in the local community for over 30 years and has earned a reputation for providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.You'll be joining a friendly, experienced team of seven veterinary surgeons, including our Clinical Directors and certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology, alongside five Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant and dedicated reception and administration teams.We're proud of the supportive culture we've created. The Role
This is a true all-round nursing position where you'll be encouraged to use the full breadth of your nursing skills.You'll work as part of a well-established, experienced nursing team, sharing responsibility for all aspects of first-opinion practice. Whether you're monitoring anaesthesia, providing theatre and inpatient care, running nurse consultations, assisting with diagnostic procedures or supporting preventative healthcare, you'll be encouraged to use your nursing skills to their fullest. At Anderson's, our nurses are trusted professionals whose clinical knowledge and judgement are valued. We believe the best patient outcomes come from collaboration, so you'll work closely with our vets and support team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with both patients and their owners.
As an RCVS Training Practice, you'll also have the opportunity to support and encourage our Student Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Care Assistant, helping them develop their confidence and clinical skills while continuing to grow your own.Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you'll contribute to maintaining the high standards we're known for by supporting infection prevention, clinical governance, patient safety and the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team just as much as they enjoy nursing.You'll be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is compassionate, organised and committed to delivering excellent patient care. Strong communication skills are important, as is the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.Experience in first-opinion practice is always welcomed, but we're just as interested in finding someone who is compassionate, curious and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team. Whether you've been qualified for one year or twenty, if you're passionate about nursing, enjoy learning and want to continue developing your skills while making a positive contribution every day, we'd love to hear from you. If you have a particular clinical interest, we'll support you in developing it through CPD and mentoring from our experienced team.

Work-Life Balance Matters
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a mixture of early (8.00am–5.00pm)and late (10.30am–7.30pm) shifts, one Saturday morning in four and no out-of-hours commitments, allowing you to enjoy a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.
