Excellent multi centre practice
Small animal vet – near Cardiff , South Wales
Our 22 vet small animal practice based near Cardiff South Wales, is looking for a 2 year + vet with a medical bias to be based at our main hospital. You would be working along side certificate holders in, and colleagues working towards certification in, medicine, surgery, cardiology and ophthalmology. Part of your duties would include care of hospitalised patients, working up internal referrals from collegues in branches as well as your own cases, some operating sessions if desired, with occasional branch work. We work our cases up to a high standard with the support of a very capable RVN team. We have all the usual equipment including a set of endoscopes, ultrasound machines, digital and dental xrays and orthopaedic equipment.
The package includes a 4 day week, 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays (or time in lieu), generous cpd allowance, RCVS VDS fees and one additional subscription. We provide our own OOH working on a 1:12 week of nights (no days) or 1:6 back up rota, dependant on experience. Accomodation can be provided if needed. There is easy access to beautiful beaches, the Brecon Beacons and also Cardiff city.
We also have a additional position available for a 1yr + graduate ( recent graduates also considered and full support given) who wishes to develop their skills in all aspects of 1st opinion clinical work.
