Want to work at a small, friendly, independent practice?

Job Description

Do you ever hear "I bet most dogs aren't as excited to see you as this"?  We do, every day, because most of our canine patients really do enjoy their visits with us - plenty of treats and toys make for happy pets.  We also have our Silver Cat Friendly Clinic Accreditation to ensure our feline patients are just as well-catered for.

My practice has just celebrated its 10 year anniversary and I think it's starting to outgrow me a little.  I'm looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our close-knit team and help me to grow the business even further and share the workload.

I'm happy to consider full or part time applicants. This is a new post so can be created around the right candidate to make it work for everyone. There is no OOH work and only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.  I'm offering 6 weeks holidays a year plus some bank holidays.

Helensburgh is a lovely town just a stone's throw from Loch Lomond and with direct half-hourly trains to Glasgow and Edinburgh. It's ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, situated on the John Muir Way, the Three Lochs Way and not too far from the West Highland Way but if relaxing is more your thing there are lots of very nice restaurants, cafés and a great local cinema.
