Veterinary Surgeon required at Bridge Vets, Aberdeen.
The Role
We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated first opinion Veterinary Surgeons to work alongside our friendly team providing high-quality clinical care to our patients and an outstanding client experience. The successful candidates will carry out a good mixture of surgery, investigations, and consulting with some sole charge responsibility. Working hours and location are negotiable Monday - Friday. Saturday rota is necessary however there is no OOH. Although we are looking for full-time cover, part-time Vets are encouraged to apply.
About Us
Bridge Vets have two sites in Aberdeen based in Bridge of Don and Portlethen. Our experienced team consists of 5 FTE Vets, 8 RVNs, and reliable support staff. You will be able to develop a good rapport with all team members and clients. We endeavour to set high standards and keep up with new developments to give the best possible service to our clients. We have up to date equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, in house laboratory machines and multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment. We are a RCVS general accredited practice and a RVN training practice. Aberdeen and the surrounding areas offer so much with the Grampian Mountains to the west and miles of unspoiled coastline to the east. Aberdeen airport and rail station are easily accessible with good connections.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants would benefit from a number of years’ post graduate experience within UK practice. They will have experience in a clinical setting and be comfortable to carry out routine consultations, medical investigations and surgery without supervision. A friendly approach to clients and good communication skills are essential. We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic, flexible mind-set, a can-do attitude and a sense of humour! Driving licence and experience of official Veterinarian certification would be ideal.
