We are looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to support in leading our team at Dave Cumber Vets. The role would be primarily based in our Weymouth surgery but may also extend to our Dorchester branch practice on occasion. As a Senior Vet you would have added responsibilities, some of which would be the opportunity to work up surgical and medical cases consistently and support the team where needed. You would be involved in leading clinical decision making with the veterinary team, reviewing clinical protocols and updating, attend and participate in IVC meetings as requested and feedback relevant information to the clinical team. This opportunity would be a perfect fit for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to extend into leadership.

Our team are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our team to be their best selves. It is important to note as senior vet, the rota will include occasional sole-charge and 1 in 6 Saturdays. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career.
