Real work/life balance in a beautiful part of the country

Job Description

We are looking for a vet to join our growing team. Ideally full-time, but part-time is an option. Full-time is based on a 4 day work week/3 day weekend. Our regular hours are: MWF 8:30 - 4pm and TTh 8:30 to 6pm. We are closed over the weekend, however we do provide an out of hours emergency service for our clients. We try hard to provide a quality work-life balance for all of our staff. We are a local, independently run veterinary clinic, so there are potential long-term prospects for partnership.

We have a great team of people, friendly, supportive, and strive for a collaborative work-environment with room for professional growth. We aim to provide excellent patient and client care, but also practical, individually based care that works for both our patients and their owners. We are a mixed practice, approx 85% small animals to 15% large. If a vet candidate is keen on doing mixed / large animals, we have the opportunity to increase our large animal portion of the practice. We have generous benefits for staff pets, CPD and provide a work pension, 30 days holiday including statutory holidays, with the option to increase this over time. We will cover professional subscription fees, and a relocation package is negotiable. Salary is commensurate with experience. We can potentially provided initial accommodation upon further enquiry.
