Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon

A fourth Veterinary Surgeon is required in our independent large animal practice in North Wales.

We have a strong dairy client base along with beef and sheep clients. We have a wealth of experience between us including Diplomate in Cattle Health and Production; prior experience carrying out post-mortem and disease investigations as part of AHVLA. We hold regular farmer meetings/workshops.

Beautiful rural location close to the National Parks.  30 minutes from Chester, 45 mins from Manchester Airport and within an hour of Snowdonia and Anglesey.

We would like a team player who is keen to deliver a proactive and high quality service to our friendly clients.  Scope to develop your own interests.

• Salary would be commensurate to experience.
• Enthusiastic new graduate welcomed or experienced colleague.
• Excellent support and training will be provided where needed.
• Full time position but would consider part time/flexible.
• Working day generally 8.30am to 5.00pm
• 5 days Paid CPD
• 31 days holidays
• Day off in-lieu following weekend on-call (which is very quiet most of the year)
• RCVS and VDS membership paid, plus up to two society memberships.
• Start date January 2026
