Ultrasound Veterinarian

Baldivis Vet Hospital is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Veterinarian to join our progressive and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped hospital with a strong focus on excellence in patient care, diagnostics, and teamwork.

About the Role:

We are looking for a veterinarian with a postgraduate qualification in diagnostic imaging or ultrasound to provide high-quality ultrasound services to our patients. The role involves performing abdominal and thoracic ultrasounds, echocardiography (if applicable), and assisting with advanced case workups in collaboration with our experienced veterinary team.

Ideally, we are seeking someone to cover Monday to Thursday and one weekend day, with approximately 4 hours per shift. Although these shifts are shorter than a standard workday, the relatively higher salary will ensure that the total remuneration is equivalent to a full-time salary of $120,000 per annum.

About You:

• BVSc or equivalent, with registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of WA
• Postgraduate qualification in diagnostic imaging or ultrasound (e.g. GradCert, MANZCVS, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in small animal ultrasound
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to patient care
