We’re a privately owned, well established 24/7 Veterinary Hospital looking for emergency vets to join our close-knit, caffeine-loving, adrenaline-fueled team.

The Important stuff:

• Shift time:  9 PM – 9 AM
• A varied shift including consultations, emergency surgery and hospital case management
• Casual role with opportunity for permanency
• One, two or three shifts available per week – you choose
• Accommodation within walking distance
• Sponsorship available for vets with degrees recognised in Australia
• Working Holiday Visa holders with recognised degrees are welcome to apply

 What We’re Looking For

• Ability to perform emergency surgery
• Confident managing medical cases
• Comfortable working sole charge
• Emergency experience or postgraduate studies highly regarded

 What we offer

Weeknights:
$1,313.00 per shift (including super) PLUS commission

• Commission on selected services (Includes consultations and surgeries performed after midnight)
  Average commission from previous months: $400 per shift (excluding surgery commissions) (this is in addition to the shift rate and excludes surgery commissions).

Weekends:
$1,596.00 per shift (including super) PLUS commission

• Commission on selected services (Includes consultations and surgeries performed after midnight)
  Average commission from previous months: $400 per shift (excluding surgery commissions) (this is in addition to the shift rate and excludes surgery commissions).
