fantastic team in small independent practice!
As Katrina is going on maternity leave in December we are looking for someone to cover for the year. We would prefer a full-time vet, but part-time would be considered. Some experience would be preferred.
The practice is small and independently owned. I opened in 2011 and have just recently expanded to 3.5 vets to enable us to re-open our books to new clients. I know everyone says it, but we have a really lovely team here, with 5 vet nurses (some part-time), 3 student vet nurses and a VCA. We have an extremely low staff turnover (just lots of people going off to have babies!)
At the moment, the hours are:-Monday 9-12/1 , then 3-6pm. Tuesday 9-12, then 2-5. Wednesday half day, Thursday 9-12/1, then 3-6, Friday 9-12, then either 2-5, 3-6 or another half day (3 week rota). No Saturdays, evenings or OOH, and we usually finish on time! 10 minute or 20 minute appointments, depending on the case, and slots kept free to allow catch up.
All the usual toys- in house analysers, digital xray, new ultrasound etc. Hamilton is a great area with really good transport links to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Please take a look at our website or facebook page (Julie Innes Vets) for more info! Look forward to hearing from you soon!
