Boxer with mast cell tumour at base of pinna, pre-op.  The only feasible way to achieve an acceptable margin of excision is ear canal surgery in addition to pinnectomy.  In this case, vertical canal ablation was used, although arguably the more radical option of total ear canal ablation would have been more suitable.
