Cranio-caudal: 10 year old Golden retriever

  • Extensive peri-articular ostephytosis evident on the medial and lateral skyline of the humeral condyle.
    • Irregular osteophytes medially - this is not the medial coronoid process(MCP), merely osteophytes forming close to the MCP.
    • There has been extensive remodelling of the lateral osteophytes to the extent that the original new bone now seems to be incorporated into the humeral condyle and a second wave of osteophytes is forming.
  • The humero-radial joint is irregular and the humero-ulnar joint space appears to have been obliterated.
