Sorry had to photoshop out the lurid towel in the background. I find this approach easier to access the ovaries and puts less tension on their pedicles when elevating them out of the incision site. I use iv alfaxalone to anaesthetise these and opiod + meloxicam analgesia. Everting sutures are necessary for skin healing and need to be in place for 6 weeks. This dragon had pre ovulatory ovarian stasis and recovered uneventfully
