Right parasternal long axis view from a cat with restrictive cardiomyopathy (RCM). There is mild to moderate left atrial dilation. There is no left ventricular hypertrophy but there is reduced contractility, particularly of the free wall. The cat had presented with dyspnoea due to pulmonary oedema.
