Woodley Equipment Co Ltd
has announced the launch of its Quality Control Program for all Melet Schloesing MS4, MS4 + and MS4 5 Vet Haematology Analyser customers.
Quality controls (QC) form part of a quality assurance (QA) program to guide the work of the practice laboratory and assess its overall quality and performance. This assures the veterinarian that test results generated are both accurate and precise. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme states that internal laboratory QC procedures used in conjunction with an external quality assurance (EQA) scheme must be undertaken routinely, to create the uniform high quality that makes laboratory practice results reliable.
