Three new DVDs on practical clinical subjects are now available from CPD Solutions. Vets can watch videos by leading experts in key areas of small animal practice, see how to perform procedures and return to the DVDs for further help whenever it is required.
The new products are 'Abdominal Surgery 1' by Eric Monnet, 'Ophthalmic Examination' by Jim Carter and 'Femoral Head and Neck Excision' by Toby Gemmill and Andrew Coughlan.
'Abdominal Surgery 1' covers procedures that vets in first opinion practice need to be able to carry out confidently and effectively, such as enterotomy and enterectomy.
'Ophthalmic Examination' provides a structured approach to small animal ophthalmology patients, and shows how to carry out each part of the eye examination.
'Femoral Head and Neck Excision' provides an overview of this commonly performed procedure, with extensive surgical videos and advice on how to avoid common pitfalls.
Susan Coughlan of CPD Solutions said: 'We have found that vets appreciate high quality video teaching that is full of practical tips directly applicable to their work, and in subjects such as surgery and ophthalmology, being able to access videos showing how to carry out examinations and procedures seems to be particularly helpful.'
DVDs can be purchased from CPD Solutions by phoning 0151 328 0444 or on the website at
