CEVA launches new anti-infective for cattle

CEVA Animal Health has launched Marbokem, a Marbofloxacin-based antimicrobial for the treatment of respiratory disease in cattle which offers the advantages of a one-shot protocol and a shock-resistant vial. Marbokem is used for the treatment of respiratory infections caused by sensitive strains of Pasteurella multocida , Mannheimia haemolytica and Histophilus somni . CEVA says Marbofloxacin's efficacy has been proven in terms of re-treatment rate, success, speed of action and MICs in comparison with many frequently used quinolones and macrolides.
