Novartis launches Milbemax Chewable Tablets for dogs
Novartis Animal Health has launched a chewable formulation of Milbemax wormer, for dogs. According to the company, clinical studies have shown that the chicken-flavoured formulation and chewy texture of Milbemax Chewable Tablets is highly palatable, with more than 94% of dogs showing spontaneous acceptance from hand. Novartis says this should help make worming simpler and improve compliance, something which is particularly important given market research which shows that difficulties in administering medications often leads to missed treatments.
