Paragon Veterinary Referrals in Wakefield has announced three free online CPD events for veterinary surgeons, taking place between June and August.

The programme is comprised of one "Coffee with our Clinicians" session and two "Clinical Club evenings", both delivered using Microsoft Teams.

Paragon’s clinical director, Sophie Adamantos, said: "Coffee with our Clinicians is an opportunity to listen to two or more specialists discussing, and taking questions, on clinical cases and conundrums.

“Clinical Club will feature longer, more in-depth presentations by our clinicians from different disciplines discussing specific themes, treatments and developments."

The events are as follows:

  • Thursday, June 18 - Coffee with Our Clinicians: Soft tissue specialist Mickey Tivers and oncology specialist Rodney Ayl will be discussing soft tissue sarcoma
  • Monday, July 20 - Clinical Club with orthopaedic surgeon Nick Blackburn discussing localising lameness
  • Thursday, August 6 - Clinical Club with orthopaedic surgeon Mark Tonzing, discussing orthopaedic radiology
