Looking to be a Small Animal Vet in the Heart of the Cotswolds?


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part-time Veterinary Surgeon at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital in the beautiful Cotswolds, close to Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath. Clockhouse is a friendly, high standard first opinion practice with hospital status that bridges the gap between standard first opinion and referral institutions by fully working up medical cases and carrying out advanced surgical procedures.


We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work in this friendly, relaxed and supportive 10 vet team. This position would ideally suit a candidate with an interest in medicine. Vets work a 1 in 5 weekend rota. The team includes certificate holders and those currently working towards certificates. We are looking for the successful candidate to start in Autumn 2019 after one our vets has moved on.

Varied workload but allowing for an excellent work-life balance. The hospital is well equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, echocardiography and wet biochemistry lab with lab technician. Weekly veterinary team meetings to discuss cases and further understanding including presentations by a referral clinician. We are supported by a local referral hospital nearby where CT and advice is readily available.
