This sample was taken by cystocentesis from a dog with no history of PUPD, just malaise and inappropriate urination. Yuck!
Long chains rods= pseudomonas?
From memory Joanne, these were Proteus (the rods) and staph (bunches of grapes). I'll try and find the report when I'm back in locumming at the same practice later this week.
