&lt;p&gt;It is said by many that water scarcity is likely to be a massive problem in the next century&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So say that water is not necessary to prevent dehydration&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Therefore water isn&amp;#39;t necessary&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Therefore the problem goes away&lt;/p&gt;

To prevent dehydration you need sodium and glucose for the absorption that passively brings water from the gut. You can give a scouring calf all the water you want, but it will do very much better if you give it sodium and glucose too. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
