We need to replace the water trap and I am trying to source this. Sampling lines are no problem thanks to advice from a previous post here.
Yup, we use ProAct to service and maintain our anaesthetic and autoclave equipment. I think they will service dental machines but we get someone else to do that.

Re: Cardiocap II

Clearly we need a little man!!

Has anyone used Proact Medical? It seems they visit and service pretty much everything we have in the operating theatre and it may be more cost effective for us to use one company for everything.

Any other suggestions for an alternative company or little man?

Re: Cardiocap II
We have always had service exchange TEC 3 units as it means the serviced one arrives and the old one gets packed up.
We have a little man who comes out and tests the actual output of the vaporiser compared to the calibration. If it's out of spec (above the standard '+/-' limits) then we've had it serviced/recalibrated. I assume by '10yr service interval' you mean the Penlon SigmaDelta - we did have one of these that strayed out of spec and sent it back to Penlon UK directly for service - at much less cost than the 'agents' were going to charge...

Re: Cardiocap II

Wonderful!
I am considering getting a new vaporiser with a ten year service interval rather than pay about £100 for a service exchange unit. Our other TEC 3 has a five year service interval so not sure why this one is annual.
Can they not just check the output is within tolerances; surely it only needs servicing if out of tolerance?
