Just downloaded 'veterinary care of exotic pets' this weekend - finding it really useful, lots of information an videos/pictures. Highly recommended so far!

Anymore apps out since this thread was last posted on? I saw an article on the Vet Bus Journal saying they were lots available - annoyingly he didn't mention names or give any web links - there is huge scope for this I believe - a comprehensive vet app with poison calculators fluid calculators formularies etc all within one app would be incredibly useful

At the moment I use Dropbox and store this info as text files which are available offline but a commercial singing & dancing product would be nice!

I can access the ipad version but not the iphone version, which is a pity as I would like to have it on the phone. My husband has an US itunes account, so I will try later via him and let you know if this works for me. The German account doesn't do the trick.

I do use the us itunes - didn't realize there was a difference! (explains why i can never find the tesco clubcard app!)

I can't access target either, did you download it abroad? Looks from the link like it may not be available in the UK!

If you can't get the formulary app on your phone you can still put the PDF of the formulary on there, which should be searchable/viewable on the android system. I used to do that on my android phone before the official app arrived

bsava formulary now an app on ipod and ipad, can I use this as an excuse to wright purchase price off against tax?

There's an iphone app called "target" that has a big antibiotic formulary. Don't know if there's an android version. It lists antibiotics based on species, infection location, and effectiveness against a given bacteria.

Conversions is good - for changing metric to imperial and vice-versa. Otherwise I mainly use BSAVA formulary (sorry!).

There is a vet app on the app store - not sure if on android - called "A Vet Tool". It has potential, but no updates in a long time mean it's a bit stagnant.
