Wow1 No need to learn to more than 20 places whoever you want to 'impress'. At the twentieth decimal place I would ask if they wanted me to go on. No one ever did.

Pi has always worried me. The circumference of a circle is an exact dimension. The diameter is an exact dimension. Yet their ratio is not exact: it can never be calculated exactly. It's enough to conjure up a picture of God creating the Universe, putting little jokes in.

Not sure why I bothered other than to show off. I have never used Pi in anger!
