Does anyone know what qualifications are required to practise in Canada (probably Alberta)? I graduated from an AVMA-accredited univiersity.
Any insights into the general practice set-up there would also be welcomed

Re: Qualifications to work in Canada?

Thanks to all for the replies, very informative.
I never worked in Canada, only the UK, but as far as I can tell the standards of practice are broadly similar but the farm animal side is a bit different in that it is very herd health oriented, and especially in Alberta there would be a lot of beef cattle.

Re: Qualifications to work in Canada?

It's all here
