I am sorry to say that it created such an impression that I have completely forgotten what it was. Certainly not the BVA website but also neither one exotic nor erotic, unfortunately.

Are you kidding? How do you tell them? Their staff are the ultimate jobsworth timekeepers. Try phoning when the appropriate person's on a break and see if you get any change out of them, like taking a lucid message or getting anyone else to come to the phone. Have you ever tried getting one of the vets to come to the phone when calling BVA HQ? They really dislike contact from members.

The contrast with SPVS, VDS, BSAVA is marked

No, I do not telephone from here, too expensive apart from problems of time zone. I normally use e-mail and generally receive a prompt helpful response although, at the moment, delivery of my journals has gone haywire since the mailing was handed over to the BMJ people. 'If it ain't broke don't mend it' is a good motto. Anyway, the website problem seems to have been sorted.
