Send one standard post and the other recorded delivery (keep certificate of posting for standard mail one) as persistent bad payers usually have other debts and will rarely accept recorded delivery items!

Told them that we believed the client- practice relationship was not workable (or words to that effect) and that we were "deregistering" the client, advised that we would be happy to provide clinical history to any new practice so that the pet continued to receive appropriate care. "Deregistering" was great because it implied an NHS-style registration to a practice was necessary (which of course it isn't) and made bouncing them off the books more grandiose. Just be careful not to say "won't see you or your pet ever again unless hell freezes over" as you could run foul of RCVS requirement to "provide emergency first aid blah blah blah".

Re: Sacking Letter for Client

[quote user="Gerry Henry"]
