Hopefully the supervisors will get used to the new format as times gos on. Good luck getting it together for next year. I am getting there, hopefully will be ready by next weekend

Re: CertAVP at RVC

Sorry, lost track of who was replying to- you already have a supervisor obviously ;-)

Re: CertAVP at RVC

I've done all the A and B mods with RVC and am enrolled on the C SAM modules with them. I was originally going to try to submit for one of them this year, but wouldn't have had the stuff ready for submission date (it seems to now be month earlier than originally stated?). I'm now aiming to submit for all 3 next year ( I may be mad...) and am starting to feel a bit more motivated having finally found a supervisor! Not sure whether you're aware of the SAMSoc discussion ongoing on their forum about certificate advisors, there is a list being formulated of poeple willing to volunteer.

Re: CertAVP at RVC

Im doing Small animal medicine-all 3 modules. I submitted SAM10 last year with little clue what I was doing and scraped through. trying to do a better job on these 2 modules based on a combination of feedback from last year, looking at case books from people who did the old cert and some guidance from my supervisor.

The problem is that my supervisor and others who have done the old style cert are not familiar with the new one. So noone really knows what to expect. Was hoping to find some other people doing it to chat to. Not feeling too hopeful as only 4 of us sat the exam last year and also the RVC discussion boards are thinly populated

Re: CertAVP at RVC

I've done A&B with Middlesex (didn't enjoy it that much I have to admit!) and am now doing C modules for small animal medicine certificate. I decided not to submit this year, partly due to work pressures, but also because I had so little idea of what on earth I was doing, and no supervisor, so I thought I was probably setting myself up for failure. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well...

Re: CertAVP at RVC

I am currently halfway through B module, having done A last year.
