&lt;p&gt;Not wanting to do a sales job, but Vetofol is still very much available and I&amp;#39;ve been advised there are no issues with raw materials or production of Vetofol so it is available as an option without having to panic bulk buy stocks of it. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We got on well with alfaxan until the op where the &amp;#39;apnoea&amp;#39; went on (almost) throughout the whole surgery. The nurse did the ventilation and cat was fine but was a little unsettling! Poss fast with injection!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve just done some sums for interest, and the cost of Alfaxan seems to work out a bit more than four times the cost of propofol.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our group of practices is not very big&amp;nbsp; - 3 mixed animal practices. We are not going to exhaust stocks of propofol - we probably use more TM spray, willcain and duphamox la than propofol! And as I said I&amp;#39;m just trying to give you all a heads up.&lt;/p&gt;
