We re-opened for the am only on those days, it was treated like working a Saturday for the staff who were in. Luckily I wasn't on the rota for either weekend!

Shut at 5pm Christmas Eve and 4pm Hogmanay.

However we were open again on the 27th and 2nd respectively, so no 4 days off for us!

4pm for us well - also dictated by when our emergency service provider took over cover.

Tend to shut at 2pm on both days (that incorporates a long Saturday morning -style surgery). Not a bad one to work actually because it counts as a full day worked!

We closed at 4.30pm both days. Both afternoons were pretty quiet.

Midday on both days, with duty VS on-call for emergencies.

We closed up 3.30/4.00pm and the on duty vet took the phones. If we had been busy we would have carried on. We were dead both days, certainly in the afternoons.

6pm both days. Couldn't shut earlier as Vets Now work from our practice and they dont start till 6pm so couldn't leave the place unstaffed.

6pm for both here. Our closing time was dictated by when our OOH provider would take over the phones - if they'd been willing to take them over earlier we would have closed earlier.

4pm was the plan - but with all the last minute "been ill for weeks but we don't want to leave it over Christmas/New year" appointments, a splenic mass, broken legs, etc that idea went out the window (along with lunch, or even coffee).

We've always worked it until we finish or until normal closing whichever comes first. Usually ends up around 3pm. Nice bonus for those that aren't working
