There was none of thie media coverage when my neighbour was caught throwing my pet bluebottle into a wheelie bin.

He only got a £40 fine for fly tipping!!!

(Groan )

PS - Have heard some much ruder ones about this inicident but I don't know if Arlo would permit me to pollute his nice respectable forum...!!!!!

I complained to the council the other day about the size of my wheelie bin.

There isn't even room to swing a cat in there...

I liked Boris Johnson's take on the woman who put the cat in the wheelie bin. He decided that despite her being an otherwise apparently normal person she obviously was lacking somewhat in self esteem and putting the cat in the bin empowered her. His punishment for her therefore would be to take her into the Serengeti just as the lions were beginning to stir and leave her for the night and she would soon discover who had the power: her or the cats! Boris for PM I say.

A cat is biodegradable so that would be the green bin around here.....................
