Please, please.please when you "upgrade the platform" as they've just done on the DLR, do not change things just 'cos it is an upgrade and you can!!

And don't change the names of things either, or the colours; it's a real pain in the bum when software upgraders do this.

And they do it for no reason whatsoever except that it's an upgrade; it's not, it's just a bloody change!

Ebay does it all the time and adds useless features and changes all the layout and it pisses me off!

Well, it is now!

I've got a load of things to think about in the New Year - upgrading the platform, adding mobile functionality, enhanced search, enhanced profiles etc. etc. Still working on the 'road map', and to some degree it depends on whether the Euro collapses, and we're all reduced to growing potatoes in our back gardens!

Seasonal greetings, Arlo, and thanks for the best vet forum on the net, I suppose a search function for topics isn't on your list?

I know [actually, I've just seen], the search function but it doesn't seem to search by thread, rather by each reply, or am I more than usually thick?

Get into arguments with my colleagues all the time and it would be nice to be able to produce the old thread to confirm my position.

Catgut and cruciates spring to mind....

Unfortunately, more expensive than you would think to add this, and I have just blown quite a lot of money making the last set of changes (being able to review and quote from an entire thread when replying, and recognising mobile devices).

On the 'to do' list, but not imminent ...

I'll second that. It's also useful for when you read threads backwards. I suggested this a long while ago, it would be useful to have on the site.
