So far, I don't see anyone using the new multiple quote feature in the forum - but I wonder whether anyone is finding it helpful for reviewing the whole of a thread you are contributing to, and not just the post you pressed 'reply' to.

Wa Hey, it's all up and running Now you can review and quote from an entire thread without leaving the page.

Incidentally, everyone, it's Nigel that is really the unsung genius behind this site. It's him that makes all your requests happen. I just pay for it.

And thanks also to Michael Woodhouse, without whose heckling this might not have happened.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. To reply quoting an excerpt from one post.
Click reply under the post. Select just the text you wish to quote in the post, and press 'Quote this post'. The selected text will now appear in your response beneath.

2. To reply quoting all of a single post
As above, but don't select any text with your mouse. Just press 'Quote this post' and the whole post will now appear in your response beneath.

3. To review the whole thread, or quote from multiple posts
As above, but press the Quote / Review Entire Thread button. You will now see the whole thread displayed with a scroll bar if necessary on the right hand side.

I think this is a really big improvement, and very much hope you all like it. Please post any feedback / bugs here.
