Yes it would have been a good idea but the only person there to help was the daughter of the farm, 10 stone on a heavy day.

I was very happy to see the article though, perhaps some of our can't-pay-won't-pay, (but I still want you to carry out a caesarian on my planned mated staffie), clients should take a leaf out of the chicken owner's book.

I am wondering who the manager is and who the Veterinary Board of Great Britain is???

When I was in my final year a lass in my year was driving along a country lane when she came across some vehicles blocking the road. She stopped and got out, a horse had been spooked by a bus and was upside down in a ditch. She lept into action checking on the horse, sending a girl with a helmet off to get a headcollar. She came back with a headcollar when the air ambulance arrived, strapped her to a spinal board and airlifted her to hospital.
