I need to up my game on the youtube side of things. So I've redesigned my website and I wonder what you think? It only has one job to do!
Be as rude as you like - I have to develop a thick skin in this game
Thanks for any thoughts / opinions

RE: Can I have some feedback on a website please?

Ben Walker Thanks Ben.
I spent hours yesterday trying to add a little bobbing down arrow, but it wasnt having any of it! In any event, I think the text links are clearer. So thank you again, that was super helpful.
I like it. Simple. To the point. Clear call to action.
Thank you Ben Walker
The content strikes me as solid. I don't know how the system works well enough to know whether a mailing list over encouraging channel subscriptions is the right approach.
The problem with channel subscriptions is that so many people (particularly of a certain age) miss them. Lots of my friends have said they wanted to watch a film, but missed it. Channel subscriptions are great, but I think an email list is probably more reliable. But of course both options are there.
Your linear gradient at the bottom of the hero section starts above the social media icons, so they don't pop out as much as they should. The height of the gradient box (90px) is more than the padding that is being applied to the hero element (52px).
The idea of the gradient was to give a hint of content to scroll too. I think I am inclined to remove it now I've got Janine's links.
There is markedly less spacing between the text in your hero section and your CTA box when the viewport goes below 767px. The rest of the layout has generous breathing room, so it stands out as being a bit tight.

The mobile version of your background image is mostly obscured at your breakpoint (hard to see a head, would definitely struggle to identify you).
Mobile stuff is so tricky, because there are so many different screen resolutions. On my iphone, my eyes sit, peering out from between the title and the first line. But now i have added two new lines the whole thing has had to be shifted around a bit. See what you think now.
Finally, you aren't consistent in your use of straight vs curly single quotation marks (’ vs ').
I can't find the inconsistent one (s), on my screen, they are all curly - I wonder if there is some inconsistency in the code which is rendering differently on your browser. Can I ask which quotation is wrong?

Thank you SO much, both of you. Really helpful.

RE: Can I have some feedback on a website please?

I like it. Simple. To the point. Clear call to action.

I'd hope there's nothing to be rude about. The content strikes me as solid. I don't know how the system works well enough to know whether a mailing list over encouraging channel subscriptions is the right approach. Only a handful of design tweaks:

Your linear gradient at the bottom of the hero section starts above the social media icons, so they don't pop out as much as they should. The height of the gradient box (90px) is more than the padding that is being applied to the hero element (52px).

Finally, you aren't consistent in your use of straight vs curly single quotation marks (’ vs ').

I doubt any of the above will have any effect on your conversion rate
